ACC

ACC has some nice OoC games this year. Off the top of my head VT will play BSU. The 'Canes will go to Columbus and Pitt in September. Clemson has Auburn and the North Carolina plays LSU. FSU has OU and Florida. GT has their usual game with Georgia.Down or not, the ACC continues to play a solid out of conference schedule. I guess it will all play out. 9/11 will be a fun weekend- Miami/ Ohio State and Alabama/ Penn State. Looking for a 104 degree, humid day in Columbus that day to see how "tough" the Buckeyes are. the acc will be much improved this year and have some different keys that they didnt have.

colt mccoy

I get the sense that people still see him as that lanky freshman. Last time I checked, he was around 220lb or something. That's plenty of muscle. No matter what the detractors say, McCoy has all the tools to be the most successful QB in this draft. He is definitely a hard worker and has good character. but on the other hand draft suh first, Suh is an absolute beast. He mauls people. He is an all-pro lineman with high character. Nobody is going to take McCoy in the first round so if I were St. Louis, you take McCoy in the 2nd. I really don't see how Bradford is rated so much higher than McCoy. They are relatively even in accuracy, maybe a slight edge in Colt's favor. Arm strength probably goes to Bradford. Mobility is Colt's strong suit. But if you talk about winning and guts, McCoy is your man.

ncaa

I think that this years tourney has been the best one in a few years but that does not mean that the best team is going to win, that is the beauty of a tournament format, anybody can win and if you are the best and have a bad game, darn....sorry. UK and KU are the best two teams in the country and to say otherwise is IDIOTIC. They both had a bad game and they lost. WVU hit 10 3s while UK hit 4 and missed 15 free throws and only lost by 4. WVU was lucky and they won....to say they were better that night is accurate. If you think that Northern Iowa is better than Kansas then you are an even bigger idiot. So thats why i think the ncaa tourney isnt always acurate in getting the best team to win.

NFL Rookies

the life of an nfl rookie is one where u must figure something out. If I just blew your mind with that one, sorry. I know you may not have even considered it yet, but you need to. Believe me, I hope you have a wildly successful career and play this game for the next 10 years. But even if you do play that long, which is seven years longer than the average by the way, you will still only be 32. So the question is, what are you going to do for the next 50 years? that is something the players must realize when they start that it may be over very fast.

Roy jones vs b-hop

Roy Jones is living in a dream world and Bernard Hopkins may send him back home. People along with Roy Jones tend to forget that he has been viciously knocked out 3 times in recent years. I am not a fan of either fighter but I'm a realist. There was a reason that Roy never could go and visit Greg Page in person. Reason was that he realized that it could very have been him but he allowed his massive pride to override reality. Let's face it he has not been whatever he was for almost 10 years. He hand picked his opponents and created an illusion of greatness instead of fighting the best and becoming great on his merits. Roy fought the best forklift drivers and wanna be fighters around and was never forced to have to dig down deep to win. He's never had a defining fight like a Thriller In Mani. that's why i think he is overrated in the fact that he isnt truly as good as he proclaims to be.

DIkembe Mutombo

dikembe has always been a true hero in my eyes.In 1997, Mutombo with the Mutombo Foundation began plans to open a $29 million, 300-bed hospital on the outskirts of his hometown, the Congolese capital of Kinshasa. Ground was broken in 2001, but construction didn't start until 2004, as Mutombo had trouble getting donations early on although Mutombo personally donated $3.5 million toward the hospital's construction. However, the project has been on the whole very well received at all social and economic levels in Kinshasa. he has been well recognized through his charity work and has donated over 15 million to charities. he is a good person and also played 18 nba seasons.

Felons

Having some convicted felons to be allowed to vote could change the outcomes of many elections and would make them feel more like a part of regular society. Now with that said I think the states should place limitations on which types of convicted felons are allowed to vote depending on how many felonies they have and the crimes they committed. For example people that have been convicted of a felony such as grand theft auto or something like that should be able to regain their right to vote if they can prove they have become model citizens and are now avoiding crime. On the other hand I think people that committed crimes such as murder or any type of crime against America should lose their right to vote. i do think some convicted felons should get the right to vote if they earn it

la lakers

The NBA’s historic rivals are once again staring each other down from 3,000 miles away. They’re playing a nightly game of can-you-top-this that’s threatening to make a mockery of their respective conference finals. The Celtics went to Orlando and won both games, leaving the Magic reeling. The Lakers have knocked around Phoenix by an average of 15.5 points; the Suns stuck shaking their heads in frustration. so now everyone is waiting for this super matchup. but will it happen soon or will we have to wait again thats the question. Phoenix just doesn’t look capable of beating L.A. in four of the next five games. The Magic not only would have to do the same to the Celtics, they’d have to win twice in Boston.

UFC

I was always a big fan of the ufc and have always liked mma. it has been one of my passions for a while now. i love fighters such as anthony Johnson, chris leben, jon jones and kimbo slice. the sport has grown rapidly over the years and now has a mainstream approach. The video game sold millions of copies in the world and was a great sucsess. Many athletes are now training mma to stay in shape because of the cardio workout it gives you. MMA and the ufc are now huge and will be for some time. they will be changing rapidly and will be interesting to watch.

GRANDPA

Joe Brandsasse was born April 12, 1952 to Mary and Jim Brandsasse. He grew up in Indiana where he lived most of his life in pike county Indiana in a small town called Otwell. Growing up he lived in a farm lifestyle where he learned many values about hard work and what it takes to be a good person. He enjoyed doing many things in his free time from hunting to playing sports. He shot his first deer when he was only 8 years old and killed many more throughout his life as this hobby managed to stick with him for the duration of his life. he was my grandpa and was always a great person. he was very fun and interesting.

mma

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua is fresh off winning the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 113 and the new champ will get the winner of UFC 114's main event between Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans in his first title defense. Shogun doesn't seem to mind which it is though: "I think Rampage [will win], but it's close to 50/50 to me. I'd say 55% for Rampage, 45% Rashad. To me Rampage or Rashad, it doesn't make a difference, they are both top fighters. But a fight against Rampage would be good ... for the pay-per-view." this is very interesting because rampage hasnt fought in over a year and rashad has fought twicw this year already.
